cieTrade Hosting Requirements
cieTrade is a multi-user client/server business software solution designed for commodity trading and recycling companies. Some components of cieTrade use an SOA framework (service-oriented architectures framework). For the software to function properly, the environment that hosts it must satisfy certain conditions called system requirements. Hosting requirements provide a guideline across the database engine running on the server platform, the network bandwidth that handles the remote data requests, and the client system that presents the user interface. cieTrade Database Server Requirements
Operating System: Enterprise or Standard edition of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 (Recommended), 2012 SP1, or 2008 R2 with SP1 (64-bit versions only).
Processor: 1 dual-core or 2 single-core processors are required. For larger installations, a multi-core processor is recommended.
RAM: At least 4 GB of RAM is required, whereas 8 GB or more is recommended. For an Enterprise installation with 50 or more users, 64 GB of RAM is recommended.
Disk Space: At least 250 GB of free disk space will be required. However, if the document imaging features are used, 500 GB or more of available disk space is recommended.
cieTrade SQL Server Platform Requirements
cieTrade supports Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2012, 2008 R2 with Service Pack 2, 64-bit Standard and Enterprise editions only. It doesn’t support any other database management system currently. In order to use the software, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) are mandatory.
cieTrade Client Workstation Requirements
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 SP1, or Windows Vista SP2 (32-bit or 64-bit versions).
Processor: 1 dual or single-core 2.6 GHz processor or higher.
RAM: 2 GB of RAM or more.
Display: A monitor with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or greater.
Hard Disk Space: A minimum of 150 MB of available hard disk space is required.
Network Card: 1 GB Ethernet.
Browser: Internet Explorer 10.0 or newer.
